FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

BODY TONING with LIZ OLIVEIRA -   6:30 pm on Monday & Wednesdays - This class is done mainly through floor exercises to tone every inch of your body and work on flexibility – great for all ages. (Classes are off for the summer and will resume in September.)

BOOTCAMP with LIZ OLIVEIRA  - 7:30 pm on Monday & Wednesdays - Liz mixes short bursts of cardio with muscle endurance to burn calories and really accentuate muscle tone. (Classes are off for the summer and will resume in September.)

ENDURE 0-60 with MATT KERR -
This is an 8 week, 3x per week, gradual endurance program. We start with 2.5 minutes of continuous motion on day 1... finishing the program on day 24 with a FULL 60 MINS of movement with no rest, including your warm-up and cool-down of course. This class is suitable for all ages and abilities, so long as range of motion is not greatly limited. We can modify our movement and intensity when needed.
Besides each classes' continuous movement portion..the remainder of each 60 minute class will focus on a variety of full body conditioning, including cardio, balance and agility, strength training and so on! Classes will run Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30pm, and Saturday mornings at 9am. Saturday will generally be a lighter day. 

TRX Fitness & Training - TRX Training is a perfect whole body workout. Classes focus on strengthening our core, creating greater balance and flexibility. TRX for Function Movement is a way retrain old injuries & weakness, and a progressive way to prevent future injuries! This class is suited for beginners, as well as advanced. Join Cathy on Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings at 9:30am.

Gentle Yoga - Pam Wright takes you through gentle yoga poses that are perfect for beginners as well as experienced yoga students. Practice will include postures, breath work and meditation techniques. Join in on Tuesday evenings @ 6:00 pm to find your way back to a peaceful space.

Flow/Hatha Yoga - If you are ready to add more intense postures & deepen your awareness of your body/mind balance, this class is for you. While all yoga classes can be modified, you will be encouraged to challenge your boundaries in this class as we pay close attention to form and alignment. We will explore inversions, arm balances, and back-bends as we make modification for everyone's body type and ability. Cathy holds this class on Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings at 8:30 am, and Thursday evenings at 6:15pm

Restorative Yoga - In restorative yoga, props are used for support the body so that you can hold poses for longer, allowing you to open your body through passive stretching. The postures are usually adapted from supine or seated yoga poses with the addition of blocks, bolsters, and blankets to eliminate unnecessary straining. For instance, a seated forward bend can be done with a bolster or several folded blankets on top of the legs so that your forward bend is fully supported with the entire torso resting on your props. Saturday mornings @ 10:15 am with Cathy.

All classes listed are eligible for use with Memberships and Class Passes (excluding Sunday Morning Yoga.)
